Summer in Gargellen

In Gargellen, you can expect beautiful via ferratas and hiking opportunities. Various hiking trails lead directly from our front door to quiet mountain pastures, beautiful mountain huts or challenging mountain peaks. In total, Montafon has around 1,600 km of hiking trails, from easy to challenging.

In addition, Montafon also has various via ferratas and climbing gardens with different levels of difficulty, making the area a true climbing paradise. Right next to our house are two beautiful via ferratas, including the Rongg Wasserfall and the Robi Schlucht.

So whether you are a beginner, going solo or with family and friends: the beautiful hiking trails and alpine climbing routes will put a smile on your face.

In addition to hiking and climbing, cyclists also get their money's worth here! The Montafon has over 250 km of cycle and mountain bike routes, offering perfect conditions for cyclists of all levels - whether you're on a mountain bike or an e-bike. More variety is hardly possible. Whether you opt for steep mountain slopes full of adrenaline or a relaxed tour with only a few metres of altitude: here, the motto is always "the way is the destination".

In the summer, Gargellen also has access to a tennis court. Right next to the gondola, there are two beautifully prepared all-weather courses. For more information, click here.

The first golf course in the immediate vicinity is only a 15-minute drive from Altana. In this unique area, there are several golf courses for both beginners and advanced golfers. Enough challenge!
